SALARY: CI$53,412 - CI$71,832 PER ANNUM
TAX FREE (EXCHANGE RATE IS CI$1=US$1.20)

The postholder will be responsible for:

• Supervising 5 library branches including consulting with branch Library Assistants about community activities.
• Coordinating activities and procedures between the Main Library and the branch libraries.
• Collection development, cataloguing and classification of circulating and reference materials in the adult section of all libraries.
• Compiling bibliographies, reference guides statistics and reports.
• Monitor branch Library Assistants' performance.
• Assist the Director and Accounts Officer with the library's budget.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Applicants should possess a Masters degree in library science from an accredited library school.
• Must have three to five years supervisory experience in a Public Library setting.
• Ability to communicate; work effectively and tactfully with employees and the public.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of products.
• Working knowledge of cataloguing database systems including Spectrum – Winnebago.


Benefits will be determined in accordance with the Public Services Management Law and Regulations (2005), the Public Service Pensions Law (2004 revision) and CINICO health plan.
